About Me

I have been teaching the primary levels in private and state schools for twenty two years.

I have taught across a range of year groups and in learning support, here in New Zealand and in schools in the United Kingdom.

I am Mum of two primary school aged children, one who has struggled with learning issues.

Throughout my teaching years I have seen learning change and adapt to fit with our rapidly changing world. Our children need to be equipped with the ability to apply knowledge, skills and tools across a range of learning situations within the classroom.

My approach to teaching is one that is caring, supportive yet stimulating. I use a range of teaching activities to hold interest, promote learning and nurture achievement whilst providing a much needed boost in confidence
